I entered the senior housing industry in 2001 as a trainer and developer for a mid-sized operator. As they grew, my role expanded until I directed training for every position in this company of 6,000 people. When my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, I realized I was lucky to have the gained knowledge that I'd acquired while training others and working with care experts. I also realized that other home and family caregivers desperately needed this information. That's why I formed elumenEd: to bring exceptional care training to family caregivers - the fastest growing and most underserved demographic of people providing compassion and care for our loved ones with dementia.
